  1. Me too. It's pretty good all things considered, but I guess not perfect yet. $150 doesn't sound bad at all. Post some pics after it's done so we can compare.
  2. Yep. I think it has something to do with concrete curbs as you mentioned. Thankfully mine didn't hit, but after seeing how close it was I made a mental note to think about curb condition and the vehicle's starting position relative to the curb when using active park.
  3. Sorry to hear that. I know the feeling all too well and it is very frustrating especially when it is the first mark to occur on a brand new car. I had active parking on a 2012 Focus and that never happened to me although it did come close once near a concrete curb that was sort of low and in poor condition. Was that the condition of the curb? Was it asphalt or concrete? Best of luck getting it fixed! It'll look good as new!
  4. Do they swivel when going around turns?
  5. Great picture! I had to look up that restaurant. Very cool. Best of luck with your MKZ. How do you like the LED headlights?
  6. I know this is the MKZ forum, however, C&D has tested the 2017 Fusion Sport and clocked it at 5.1 0-60 and 13.7 at 101 in the 1/4. The car weighed 4,128 as tested. I REALLY REALLY want to see the same testing of the 3.0T AWD MKZ with 400hp. Would love to see 4.6 0-60 and 12.9 1/4. Thoughts? 7. To me that's not intuitive. It's like our BMW shifter. Push a button for park, press a button on the left and push forward for reverse, press button on left and pull back for drive, move lever to left for sport. It's madness and complicated.
  8. I don't find that silly. I love the approach lighting and welcome mat in our MKX.
  9. That's precisely the nice thing about the buttons. You don't need to press neutral when toggling between drive and reverse. You just press D, or R, R or D. It will rock the same way any other car would as you select a gear and modulate the gas pedal and getting into neutral to coast is as easy as hitting N. It may be a personal preference thing, but, I will add that I like the Lincoln buttons a lot better than the crazy shift lever in our BMW.
  10. We have an MKX and love the buttons. It makes the dash to storage area really clean and getting used to the buttons didn't take very long at all. A reviewer stepping into the car should consider "muscle memory" as why the buttons get easier to use over time. Every car is different, placement of window and lock switches, vent controls, charging ports, flasher lights, the list goes on and on. I'm tired of seeing reviews with these types of trivial complaints.
  11. The thing reviewers don't understand with the msrp is that you don't pay anywhere near msrp when you buy or lease the car. And as to the acceleration, I am waiting to see some instrumented tests as I feel the smoothness and quietness of the car makes the acceleration a little deceiving.
  12. Drone is no good. Maybe passable on a Mustang when you are 18, but not on a Lincoln. Forget my idea!
  13. What about removing the resonator and replacing with pipe, but leaving the stock muffler in place?
  14. Sounds good. I just checked out your gallery pics. Your car looks pretty bad a$$ with the white and black wheels!
  15. Sweet! Thanks! I'm really looking forward to hearing how it does. Good luck!
  16. Nice. Just checking to see if you have any updates...
  17. I search every day, multiple times a day... Car and Driver, MotorTrend, Left Lane News. Google. Youtube. Nothing!!! The lack of information with these cars for sale and in public hands is driving me nuts. :) I've driven two 3.0T AWDs and was very impressed, but want to see some numbers! One ray of hope is that Zalvern on here is running his down the 1/4 this Friday and is going to report back.
  18. That sounds like a great deal and tells me my guys have more room to come down. Thank you for sharing! That is very helpful information.
  19. I just priced something with a probably similar msrp. 3.0 Reserve, awd, driver's pack, tech pack, climate pack, in Diamond Black and they wanted about $555 (with CT sales tax) on a zero cap cost reduction, 36 month, 10,500 mile a year lease. Do you mind me asking what the terms are on yours?

    Intro

Hi all. I have been all over the map with previous vehicle purchases from coupes, to SUVs, to sedans, and now am potentially in the market for a 2017 MKZ 3.0T. I have enjoyed reading some of the initial owner reviews on this forum. Looking forward to joining in the discussion. Joe
