I have seen it now in writing... the MKZ will NOT be available in 2019 in Black Label... so get it in 18 form... on a side note it is sad how the critics have destroyed such a great car..My 16 MKZ hybrid is fantastic, and the value on a used one is, well not good.. must be because it doesn't have a god awful front grill that looks like a venus fly trap wide open trying to catch ... a breath? the battery for the car..not the hybrid battery.

answered my own question.. a new battery.

just got my '16 hybrid back from the dealer.. 1 yr, 3 mo..21000 .. battery(front) was bad.. went all of a sudden.. one morning all dead, the next screen said system shutdown to save battery.. dealer did test, bad cell... good as new! Rick

Here is a new question .. I think.. everything was fine yesterday.. no problems..then went out to go to work in the morning.. fob in the pocket, but nothing happened, when touching the door.. then tried the fob unlock..still nothing..went to the keypad..numbers lit, then they didn't come back on to punch in code.. got the other fob.. worked but still had problems.. nothing started, so put it in the middle carrier, and it started... now checked the app on the phone.. isn't registering where it is parked.... app says updated, but still at the parking place from yesterday and not at work.. is my '16 having a major nervous breakdown?? I will check that.. thanks.. well, everything is on "auto".. so I manually went and turned them off, and then re autoed them.. hopefully that will work..

Earlier when I would prestart my car and warm it up, the heated seat would be on also the blower would be higher and also the steering wheel would be on (heat). Now in the cold of winter these items aren't on when I prestart. Is there a setting I screwed with? It is a 2016 MKZ hybrid.

Sounds about as bad as when I went to the auto show in Mpls last year and went to the Lincoln area and asked the "supposedly" experts. I ordered my '16 and asked about it. They were absolutely sure the 16's wouldn't be out until Sept 15. I of course tried to tell them about their error.. to no avail.. it isn't just Lincoln.. they all are pretty "lost" on news.. Especially bad when it is an auto show.. Rick

one other techie thing that I never heard about.. but found out on my '16 hybrid.. the outside mirrors act like the inside day nite mirror.. it handles the bright lights by dulling them down.. I totally understand the admiration of the MKZ..very, very cool and nice! Rick.

Every time I go to a Kwik Trip the key is not "found".. so I tried just putting the key in the center cup holder without taking the rubber holder out.. that does the trick.. so it is a pretty much standard thing now.. Rick.

I also have the MKZ hybrid non BL.. the emblem shows just like the picture.. Very cool look indeed.. Rick

so I went and got gas.. came out.. and the 2 week old MKZ hybrid is dead..no key found.. called the wife and got the other set..that started it... is there a workaround on this situation? being so new, it can't be the batteries.. can something dis orient the signal?? the message center did say when I first stopped to restart.. but I didn't.. crazy.. that's when you question new tech..vs an old type key...

not sure about the puddle lamp thing.. but it detinitely is a focused image on the ground.. the tech package did have some goodies..I got the reserve pack but had to hold off on the other goodies..

Sorry I didn't reply sooner.. Yes, I definitely like my Hybrid.. it is a great looking and driving car.. I notice I can easily get 40 mpg.. and with the eco select button it does kinda slow it down, but of course helps with the mileage.. I definitely like the welcome pad that projects the Lincoln image on the ground.. And though I have the MLT, it works great.. don't really understand the problems... I gotta agree with , I forget who said it, that the sync3 kinda dumbs down the look.. oh well different strokes for different folks!... I wish I coulda got the black label, but... I still like the basic.. and totally cannot understand the critics who says the interior is "cheap" lookin.. so that is my feeling..glad I bought it.. love the looks.. especially at night with all the lights.. :headspin: :love_shower:

wondering if anyone else has noticed this.. after we had a good rain overnight, went out to the MKZ (sat out last night) and opened the door and water gushed out..not out of the inside, but the area between the seal... front and back door.. maybe a vent is plugged?? Thanks for any insight..
