It looks great. How would describe the difference between the old and new silvers?
-
Did I miss the pictures? I'd love to see your new beauty!

I thought the DP for '17 came with the Carbon Fiber interior trim, which I loved. Mine is the now-gone Select trim level, and I took the "Sonata Spin" aluminum trim package, which was a no-charge option. I'm not a fan of wood trim either.
-
That was my favorite Black Label color combo, stunning!
My '17 is Magnetic/Ebony. Only year you could get the 3.0T in the Select trim level, which I took because I only wanted the 18-inch wheels.

Congrats and enjoy! I describe my 3.0T/AWD as having 400 very civilized, very well-behaved horses. What color and which interior did you get?
-
To each his own, Jim. I MUCH prefer the look of the '17 to the droopy-nosed '16.

As much as I LOVE my MKZ, I don't want to get a new car that's the same as the one I presently have.
I don't want a Crossover/SUV.
The new Cadillac CT4 looks nice but I am not a fan of 4-cylinder engines.
I only buy American brand-name cars.
I am leaning toward the Dodge Challenger AWD - a big, roomy, V-6 powered coupe with a little attitude;)

No loaner necessary. I waited and was in and out in an hour. I guess being a customer for 33 years earns you some perks.?
I wanted the loaner. Dropped off the car, drove to work in the loaner, and picked mine up the next day.
First car I bought at Hassett was a new 1987 Mercury Sable!

2017 3.0 AWD here also. You did well. The dealer just replaced my battery at 21K miles and 31 months. As noted by bbf2530, 3-4 years is the most that anyone's seeing in these cars.
Funny, drolds, mine (also 3.0T/AWD) was replaced yesterday at 30 months and 20K miles! Hassett must be having a run on MKZ batteries;)
I got a ruby red '17 MKZ for a loaner. You?

I am 28 months into my 36-month lease so what I have to tell you is ancient history but my $47K sticker price 2017 3.0T AWD leased at $450/mo., 10,500 miles per year, with $2K down.
This MKZ is my favorite car ever, and I attribute that to the 400-horsepower twin-turbo V-6 under the hood. It makes every single mile an absolute blast to drive!

Really great looking wheels. I think Lincoln is really going in the wrong direction in their wheel options in the last few years.
I have a 2017 3.0T AWD in the Select trim level with the standard 18-inchers. To me they are among the nicest no-extra-cost wheels around, in polished aluminium with dark-painted pockets. Most other cars' standard wheels are dull looking silver-painted.
-
Along those same lines, I ordered my 2017 3.0T/AWD in the Select Plus trim level because I did not want the low-profile tires that come with the 19-inch wheels (no moonroof either). I couldn't have ordered this in 2018 let alone 2019. Losing flexibility in configuration will result in losing sales.
-
I have the 3.0T with AWD, but a Select trim with 18-inch wheels and no Driver's Package. I was a little hesitant that the engine would overpower the "base" chassis setup (without the Torque Vectoring, sport suspension, etc.) but have had no issues.
-
That's my favorite color combination, it suits the MKZ "to a T".
-
Congrats! The 3.0T makes this car an absolute thrill to drive!
What color combo did you choose, and which wheels?

Hi all. In my case, I'm lucky (and very happy now) that I did not wait for the 2019 model year release and instead ordered my 2018 Reserve 3.0T AWD now. The 2019 trim levels and option package requirements would have eliminated the MKZ from my wanted list.
Among the important must haves for me were the 3.0 engine, no moon roof of any kind (not enough headroom), the LED headlamps and Revel Ultima sound system. Unfortunately, the new trim levels and option packages now make the 3.0 only available on the Reserve II trim. But the Reserve II trim level also makes a moon roof standard equipment. Additionally, the Luxury Package (LED headlamp and Revel Ultima sound system for 2018), now includes the Panoramic moonroof in 2019. Previously, the Panoramic roof was a free standing option, not part of the Luxury Package. It would have made it impossible for me to order an 2019 MKZ I would have been happy with.
So for me, a decision worked out for the best this time. A rare occurrence. :headspin: :hysterical:
I felt the same way about my '17. I wanted the 3.0T AWD, but not the 19-inch wheels. In '17 I was able to order a Select trim with the engine and wheels I wanted but for '18 the 3.0 was only available on Reserve trim which included the 19s. I understand simplifying the order process, but it forces a customer to take something they don't want, or perhaps makes him look elsewhere.

Thanks, FF. Missed that. I saw other parts of the package mentioned and figured it had to be somewhere.
I didn't see the white-trimmed seats or the carbon fiber trim mentioned

bce and Funktastic, you guys are gonna absolutely LOVE your cars when you get them. I have mine for 13 months now and I swear I love it more every day in every way...looks, comfort, features, ride/handling, and most of all, the power! Seriously, my favorite car I've ever owned, and that includes BMWs and Cadillacs.
You'll see for yourselves soon enough!

That did it! Thank you so much!Have you tried increasing volume when navigation commands are being spoken?
-
There must be a setting but I can't find it. I can barely hear the navigation voice commands over the radio. Is there a way to make the voice commands louder or to lower the radio volume when the navigation lady is speaking?
Thanks very much!
-
Absolutely! I have mine just over a year now and I love it more every day. I wouldn't change a single thing about it. The 3.0T with AWD really makes the car!

I had a 2017 MKZ Select 3.0 AWD that also had that vibration at exactly 64 mph. My solution - seriously - was to go either 63 or 65 mph, and there was no vibration. It was that mph-specific in my car!
As much as I LOVED that car - and I did! - when the lease ended in April of this year I just didn't want to get the same car again. I ended up, and am very happy with, a 2020 Dodge Charger AWD.
