  1. Buick offered an "Experience Buick" lease program that not only was short-term but also included the XM radio and On-Star in the monthly payment so it was a very good value. I didn't love that car so I wasn't sorry to see it go back but my wife, who leased both a Verano and then an Encore under that program, felt it was too soon to give back a car that she really liked.
  2. Hi Dank welcome to the forum and you are making a great choice to get an MKZ! Incentives vary by region. I know that here in the northeast right now there is an extra $1,000 off the V-6 so that alone should be about $30 a month. Good luck and I'd love to hear how it turns out for you!
  3. Airflow, it's more about pothole damage than ride quality. I had a 2012 Buick Regal GS with 40-profile 19-inch tires and had to replace 3 tires over a short 24-month lease due to pothole damage! Glad you're loving yours - it is absolutely beautiful!
  4. 2 months and 2,000 miles into my MKZ and I simply could not be happier! I absolutely agonized over every choice I had to make when it came to ordering my car (mainly whether to get the Driver's Package - I didn't because of the low-profile tires) because it's so important to me that I LOVE my car. In this case I feel as if I hit a grand-slam home run! The look and colors both inside and out, interior comfort, the ride-and-handling balance, and probably most of all the feeling of effortless power make every drive, short or long, a thrill. I still go down to the parking garage at work several times a day just to look at it:) Coming out of a 2014 Cadillac CTS, I expected to feel as if the MKZ was a bit of a step down - so many articles point to the shared Ford Fusion architecture vs. Cadillac's "dedicated luxury-car" platform - but nothing could be further from the truth. I actually love the Lincoln even more!
  5. Thanks fusionff for this great info! That Blue Diamond looks like a great color. The "Magnetic Package" is a good idea as an appearance upgrade, especially at the Premiere trim level. I also see they added the power trunk lid to the Select Plus package. All in all a nice bunch of changes to an already very nicely packaged car!
  6. Congrats!! Details, details..maybe post in the Ordering section?
  7. Beautiful car! Enjoy it! I love seeing other people's 2017 MKZs, just confirms what a great car choice we all made!
  8. Congrats! You are going to absolutely LOVE the car. That is very nicely equipped! I got the same color combo, including the aluminum interior trim. You will like the way it matches the aluminum on the center console! Which wheels are you getting? The "standard" Reserve wheels have changed from silver-painted to Magnetic-painted. Those would look great on your car! P.S. No sales tax in NH, correct?
  9. Thanks drolds, so then you agree it's not a malfunction? Thanks again.
  10. I understand the Passenger Airbag ON or OFF yellow lights, but what are those 2 different symbols (one or the other is always on in my car) to the right of either word? At first I thought it was a malfunction indicator but now I don't think so...
  11. Saw another one this morning on my way to work, a black one with the Driver's Package (like Airflow's)...absolutely gorgeous in person!
  12. The combination of the carbon fiber trim, aluminum speaker grilles, and the touring white accents on the seats makes for an absolutely stunning interior environment!
  13. Just hit me today, I wish it had side-view mirrors that tilt down in reverse. I've had that feature on several Buicks and Cadillacs I've owned and it's helped me avoid curb rash on my alloy wheels!
  14. I believe the "Intelligent AWD" system is Ford-designed and built. A powerful FWD-platform car like the MKZ 3.0T makes the AWD option a must-have, IMHO.
  15. Yesterday during the course of driving around I saw 4 other 2017 MKZs aside from my own! A Midnight Sapphire Blue Reserve with the new Magnetic-painted wheels (looked great!), a Black Velvet Reserve (standard 19-inch wheels), and 2 Ingot Silver Reserves, one of each of the 19-inch wheel styles. Of course I gave the friendly toot of the horn and the wave to each of them. Glad to see them catching on here on LI NY!
  16. Funny, this morning on my way to a client's office I saw a '17 MKZ Reserve 3.0 in Midnight Sapphire Blue with those Magnetic-painted wheels! It looked great! Of course I gave him the friendly wave;-)
  17. Well done, Airflow! You got yourself a winner there! Congrats, enjoy, and many happy miles!
  18. Took my 10-day old '17 MKZ on a 600-mile road trip this weekend. The Nav worked great but the lady kept saying "turn right (left, etc.) NOW!" In my previous car, a 2014 Cadillac CTS, at least she said "Please" first;-)
  19. I am always looking at dealer websites and YouTube videos. I thought I noticed a couple of Reserves with the standard-design wheels that looked dark colored instead of the silver color. I went to the Lincoln website to Build and Price a Reserve and sure enough the standard wheels are now "Magnetic-Painted". It's a very different look!
  20. I miss the power-operated cupholder cover that my Cadillac CTS had. May sound silly but it's a really nice touch and you know how it is once you get used to something!
  21. This is great! Thank you! Glad they kept the Magnetic. The Blue Diamond looks promising.
  22. I'm excited for you and can't wait to see a picture! Based on my experience - you are gonna LOVE this car, even more than you expected!
  23. So, I've had my MKZ for just under a week and 165 miles. I am VERY pleased so far, more than I expected! I came out of a 3-year lease on a 2014 Cadillac CTS which I loved, but the lack of changes in the '17 vs the '14 led me to the MKZ. I was fully expecting (and OK with) it to feel like a downgrade (my mid-trim level CTS stickered at $58K vs. $47K for the MKZ) but it doesn't AT ALL! The improvements to the MKZ's interior for 2017 are very significant. The Lincoln is quieter than the Cadillac, absorbs bumps MUCH better (CTS had those awful run-flat tires), and feels to have the same turning circle and handling ability in normal street driving. Acceleration is noticeably stronger than the 3.6 V-6 in the Cadi. Style-wise both inside and out the Lincoln is a little more "unique" looking. I really like the pushbutton shifter! I am absolutely delighted (so far) with my decision to go with Lincoln this time around!
  24. Thanks! I kind of like the "sleeper" aspect of the 3.0T/AWD with the base wheels ;)
  25. You've got a really special looking car there! Nice!!
