The concierge is online or available through phone (same as the dealer). But the online is available nearly 24/7. It's an option really not an additional layer I personally like to follow things closely so for me (so as not to be a pest to the sales person) I get "major" updates from my salesman and then do all the "minor" tracking info seeking etc usually not during "normal" business hours That allows me to feel more informed and closer to the process and still allows my salesman to perform his function (selling and delivering cars) Just my $0.02

Rail Car # ETTX710354 full of 2017 MKZ's (and maybe a Fusion or 2, but at the very least (1) MKZ with a 3.0T and drivers package) has departed Block, IL at 8:17 pm this evening.

So for those playing at home the rail car # mine is on is Ettx710354 I will try track tomorrow night. After reading up AZ seems to be the hand off point between feromex (Mexican RR) and Union Pacific for the west of the Mississippi transit ( my guess is the hand off to csx or Norfolk southern would be Kansas City or St. Louis for the Detroit region (mi, in, il, oh, pa)

We all might be on that same train . wonder if they stop and unload in Ohio or if they will all come up to Detroit and be unloaded

No they didn't. I asked and as is usual for concierge (some more helpful thAn others). He said they did not give out rail car info. So I will get a hold of my dealer and see if I can get them to give it to me

Just got off the line with the concierge and my MKZ is "in transit" it was put on the rail car on July 8

I checked with concierge also and mine is "awaiting shipment" I have to wonder if ford / Lincoln is holding them to arrive in August for some odd reason? It would seem to be counter intuitive since 2.0t and hybrids have been arriving. But based on what I have dug up ... Seems as though a LOT of folks and based on my random/unscientific approach and check random dealerships around the US. There are exactly ZERO 3.0t's in stock anywhere. And I have yet to hear of one person getting one in their hot little hands on one. In addition you would think they would not want these things sitting not making money. Somewhat baffling..

Looks like builds are moving. Ford ETIS now shows a build date of 7-5-2016 for mine. Until this morning I had the typical 11.30.0002

Got the latest status from the concierge tonight. It shows at "Trim Line" not sure if thats the start or end... but its different then "order status"

Dude, that is a major bummer... and very strange. It makes sense that you have an earlier VIN since I didn't place my order until June 13. Maybe my dealership does have a decent amount of pull (reference above post regarding first salesman) and did say they were attempting to expedite my build as much as they could. but yeah that is a bummer you don't have your window sticker yet.

Agreed. After your initial post re shut down (makes to much sense) and now the article. I have resigned myself to the most likely outcome that the first week of August is going to be the time. I believe there is a little "hope" that earlier will be done ( my current car is 9+ ) And with her replacement on the way she starting to wear on the one last nerve I have left . Lol

i finally got my window sticker... up until this weekend it would come up with the message "this window sticker has not been created" today i checked it and it showed up...yay! lincoln concierge says that it is scheduled for build next week. I asked about a shut down and they said there was nothing they can see that indicates a shutdown. windowsticker.pdf

Just check the status of my build and it is not much more than before. no exact build date yet but "scheduled for a july build" according to the Lincoln Concierge. she did say that it is past order processing and is waiting for the schedule date. I have my fingers crossed for a build the week of the 4th and hopefully delivered the week of the 18th

Wow. Sounds like we had the same sales guy. Your not near Troy MI are you? Lol. After a some what rude and snippish voicemail in response to a question, we called the sales manager and she assigned us a new sales guy and the difference is night and day. In addition they are requesting an expedited build schedule. It has been a much more pleasurable experience since.
