  1. I still love to look :flirt: at my 2013, even though I have had it now for over 4 years and 33,000 miles. I too am in love  with my car. (Not that there's anything wrong with that!) ;)
  2. Recall for rear end components? When did this come out? Neither my Z nor the Fusion have anything about a rear end thumping recall on the NHTSA website. Did he mean a TSB? Inquiring minds would like to know. :)
  3. I have used Chevron Techron fuel system and injector cleaner additive every 5000 miles in mine since new with no issues.
  4. :nonono: :nono: :censored: :banghead:
  5. The official site for Lincoln nav updates lists the same A7 part number that is sold on ebay, and shows it as compatible with the 2013 MKZ.
  6. Welcome. I have no idea what to tell you, as I have not heard this one before. Good luck.
  7. Just another recall to add to the list. ;)
  8. It is a heat exchanger type of thermo dynamic, piezo-electric, thing-a-ma-widget magical device. Or something like that. :) It's in the Owners Guide, but I can't remember exactly where. I use my seat air conditioning every day during the summer months here in North Texas. My butt stays nice and cool! :)
  9. From my limited knowledge on the subject, a battery can load test fine, but still not be able to hold a charge. It's one of those little oddities that makes you go... huh? :)
  10. I believe this has been asked before, and the answer is to use the keypad to lock the car. Don't quote me on that though! ;)
  11. Mine stay on dim instead of going off completely, which is what I assume yours are doing. They do go off after 10 min or so, as part of the automatic battery saver system. I have no clue as to why they do that.
  12. I'm pretty sure you have to remove the bumper. Don't quote me on that! :)
  13. I refused to pay the $200 renewal fee for something I never used. Well, the only thing I used services for was to download directions via Sync Destinations. Also, the renewal is only $60.00 for Ford vehicles (such as our 2013 Fusion Hybrid), but $199.00 for my Lincoln? Talk about a rip off!! The only difference I can see is with Ford, you only get 20 operator assisted calls vs unlimited for Lincoln. I have never used operator assist.
  14. Looks great! I used to do extreme detailing to my cars, but as I get older, a quick wash and wipe down is good enough. :)
  15. For what it's worth, mine still work like they did from day 1. My only current "issue" is my passenger front door red LED lock light is not working. Oh well. :)
  16. I agree Jim... no '17 for me either. I got the idea for the gloss black roof from a poster on the Fusion Hybrid forums that had his roof blacked out with that gloss black wrap stuff. Looked good. :) I may go the wrap route if I can find a place that does it within 100 or so miles from me. No one around my little town does wrap. :(
  17. No, that's for the full width tail lamp assembly. Kinda pricey, eh! You got me thinking though... how much is that "black" insert thingy? To replace that "medium dark platinum" insert on 13-16 Z's, would cost: Extension (the blk thingy) - $128.00, Chrome Exhaust Inserts - $522.00 for the pair, and Reflectors - $72.00 for the pair. Grand total = $722.00. It probably would not be much different for the 2017, except for the addition of that wide chrome part. Still, food for thought for us 13-16 owners. :)
  18. Just thought I would add that these are expensive parts. I think Lincoln will keep them a bit longer to help pay for their development. If you ever need to replace the entire assembly, it will run you (or your insurance) around $2040.00! :spend:
  19. I have thought about having a pin stripe painted on, but I just don't seem to find the time to get it done. Same with having the lower plastic cladding painted to match the charcoal black rear section, and the roof painted gloss black to match that little glossy black thing on the trunk. Some day. Some day. :)
  20. Since I usually sit INSIDE the car when I drive it, I don't really notice that middle section. As long as the brake lights work, I'm good. :)
  21. If they keep the same basic shape for that back piece, we should be able to pop ours off and put the new one in its place... with that cool chrome strip. That black part just snaps onto the rear bumper cover. By the look of the picture of the white Z in Myrons post, we should be able to make the swap. Hmmm? P.S. I just noticed they changed the shape and size of the chrome exhaust trim pieces too. They are a bit smaller than the 13-16... and further away from the painted plastic part of the lower quarter panel. Very interesting. :)
  22. That middle spot is the LED Backup light. Gotta put it somewhere. :)
  23. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! I am done with the MKZ. Don't like it. Not gonna get one. :censored: :rant2:  :swear: :banghead:
