I have a 2016 MKZ 3.7 with the upgraded THX system.
Unfortunately i am disapointed with the bass outputted by this system. I have a 12" JL Audio W6 sitting in my garage for the past three years, along with a box an amp, which I had in my old car.
I have been thinking about putting them back to use, and have a few questions.
First, how difficult will it be to tap into the THX system? I would not want to ruin anything else with it. Are there any write-ups as to how i would connect my sub and amp to the car's system? What about routing the power cable from the battery to the trunk?
Has anyone done this around here? How please were you with your setup, and what issues did you encounter?
