Glad to know that I'm not alone with this issue. I have a 2015 MKz w/ THX, I brought my car in nearly a year ago when I heard the noise in my driver side door and it was resolved. Shortly after, I began to notice that it was also happening on the passenger side. I've brought the car in twice since and requested that 'whatever it is that was done on the drivers side speaker, please do on the passengers side'. Aside from this issue., I absolutely love my MKz. I receive tons of compliments on it, and it is one of the best driving cars that I have ever owned. This one issue.,. not the issue itself, but the lack of satisfactory service is really turning me off.
