  1. two things my car did this a bit and there were two causes. First I have the 3.7 AWD and the tire were worn unevenly LF 4/32 RF 2/32 LR 5/32 RR 5/32 and the Right Front would vibrate occasionally when I put new tires on the car it went away. This car the tire need to be within 2/32 of wear if not you can get awd issues maybe the vibration is caused my this. The other reason was my lane keeping system sometimes i think there is a vibration on the road but usually its the lane keeping system.
  2. Ok I do have the Sync 3 system installed and it works except for my parking assist. Here are a few pictures from the install. I bought the programmed sync module from OEM Radio solutions and it works as it should. Now there are some caveats this is sync 3 V1 and does not support car play or android auto and my auto parallel parking does not work anymore. If you want contact info for the place I got the sync module from pm me or here is his Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/OEM-Radio-Solutions-304277299911777
  3. Yep here it goes I am gonna install Sync 3 in my 2013 MKZ. I have seen several people do this on Mustangs and Fusions and Ford has built there systems to be interchangeable. I will post a walk through in the near future
  4. FYI the factory 6X9 woofers/ sub woofers are actually very good and they are 2ohm speakers so I would bet the Rockfords you bought are 4ohm this wont hurt anything but the rockfords will play at a noticibly lower volume. The only ones I have seen is CDT makes some 6x9 2ohm subwoofers and they look good quality. http://www.cdtaudio.com/2ohm.htm this is a tough system to mess with but not impossible I switched out the tweeters for a set of JBL's
  5. I use Meguiars Black wax its great
  6. this is the best I have seen http://www.proclipusa.com/dashboard-mounts/vehicle/lincoln/mkz/2013-2014/proclip-center-mount-854919-16528.cmsv
  7. I did a rear mirror mount the brand is Blendmount and you can tap the rear view mirror for power
  8. You can run aftermarket wheels and as a general rule most manufactures allow for a 3% variance from the factory ride height. The factory offset is 55mm on the 18" and a little less on the 19" because they are wider. Come winter I will install a aftermarket set of 245/45/18 18x8 5x108 +40mm offset and winter tires. Find a good shop that does a lot of rims and they will guide you through the process.
  9. Usually factory tint is 85+ tint is rated on how much light passes through
  10. UMTS is technically a 4g tech, if the old modem was only 2g this should be much faster. sounds like the can bus is the bottle neck however
