  1. I had a 2007. I installed a pioneer navigation system with ease. The ones nowadays even add blue tooth. The dash is very easy to take apart that generation. There is also a company called Pacific Audio that sells adapters for steering wheel controls. Do a search for Pacific Audio SWI (steering wheel interface) controls. I had good luck buying off of eBay. You can also buy a new dash plate that fits the factory navigation. Buy this piece so you can fit a double din size stereo. Please let me know if I can be of any help.
  2. In order to enable navigation you need to reprogram your APIM (accessories protocol interface module). There is a company that will sell you a new one, and you send in your old one. I did this last year, and it works perfectly. http://www.infotainment.com You'll be very happy with the results.
  3. Installed these last night. They aren't as good as OEM, but are 80-90% as good. Happy with the purchase. http://m.ebay.com/itm/Side-Rear-View-Mirror-Puddle-Laser-Ghost-Shadow-Lights-for-2013-2014-Lincoln-MKZ-/231999776318?fits=Make%3ALincoln%7CModel%3AMKZ&hash=item360443a63e%3Ag%3Akv0AAOSw4shX7xPc&_trkparms=pageci%253A776e980d-f603-11e6-a333-74dbd180e366%257Cparentrq%253A525d7cfb15a0a62286147648fff50359%257Ciid%253A2
  4. 56,000 miles, only issue was a chrome trim piece falling off the exterior. $6 worth of epoxy fixed that issue. Other than that, just oil and tires.
  5. I love the look/feel of 2017+ Lincoln key fob. Will they work with 2013 MKZ?

  8. Maybe, but the 2017 Ford Fusion is barely a new nose, and not near the amount of changes in the cabin, and all the "big boys" have done reviews on it... No love for the MKZ?
  9. Anyone else find it odd there are no reviews of the 2017 MKZ out yet? Most of the time the press gets access to the cars before they are on sale to the public. The 2017 MKZ has been out for any least 6 weeks, and there are zero reviews on it... Did Lincoln not hold a press event, or is there some sort of embargo? Just curious...
  10. With the 6x9"s in the rear deck, do they now output all frequencies, or still just low frequencies?
  11. I use Bridgestone Driveguards. They are run-flat, but use same tread and build as the Serentiy Plus... VERY quiet ride, great handling! I would fully recommend these tires.
  12. Robert, Thank you so much for the guidance. I was easily able to install navigation on my '07 MKZ, but I had no idea where to get started on the '13. I will let you know how it goes.
  13. Where do you start? I pulled silver tabs off the sides, but no access to screws? Do you take storage console apart, or the center dash speakers? I bought the upgraded APIM module today, and want to make sure I know how to install it. Any insight you could provide would be appreciated. Thank you!
  14. Is the console easy to take apart? Where did you find instructions?
