None of you got it right :) Turns out there was a black pre-paid cell phone under the driver's seat near the track that was either left there by a technician or the previous owner. 4 people including me missed it. The battery was going out which is why it was making the noise.

On Wednesday I purchased a 2014 MKZ Hybrid with 19,800 miles on it. Friday while driving a sound/noise started every 2 minutes. I've attached a wav file that has the sound late in the recording. Anyone know what this might be? Thank you! mkz sound.wav
