My wife seems to be getting about 31.4 MPG on her 2012 MKZ Hybrid. She doesn't do anything in particular to maximize MPG's and in my opinion drives a bit agressively. It's mostly around town in the San Sernando Valley, so I guess you'd call it "Suburban" driving. Very little highway and very little true city. I tend to get better in my 2011 Nissan Altima Hybrid, usually around 33 MPG with the same mix of driving. I had expected the Lincoln to do better than the Nissan, but I guess that's par for the course lately with Ford's hybrids. Anyway, neither of us has anything to complain about. 2 great cars with great gas mileage. BTW, MPG's for both are as calculated by the cars' computers.

I went to the LA Auto Show just after Thanksgiving and saw the 2013 MKZ's there. The people at the Lincoln display had me sign up for a $50 gift card with my email address. A week or so later, I got an email, inviting me to test-drive the 2013 MKZ at my local dealership and to have the salesman validate my entry to receive the gift card in the mail. So I printed it and took it down there, but they didn't have any cars yet. They validated my entry anyway and my card should be on its way soon. So, the whole idea was to pay me $50 to come check out a car they don't have yet!

How do you really feel? Don't hold back, now.

My wife and I just bought a new 2012 MKZ Hybrid on the weekend, taking advantage of some great factory incentives. This car is primarily for her, but I will drive when were running around together on the weekends. Since my car is a 2011 Nissan Altima Hybrid, we're now an all-hybrid family.
