  1. I just purchased a MagnaFlow "cat-back" stainless steel system for my 2016 Black Label 3.7L. I'll install it the Saturday.
  2. Thanks. I'll take a look at that carrier. Hopefully it will work with my Thule kayak holder.
  3. I wonder why they can't make a rooftop carrier for our vehicle? I want to carry my kayak and have all the attachments from Thule, but they do not make rails for our car (most every other car) My trailer hitch works fine for my bicycles, but kayaks need to be on the roof. I do have a sunroof, but all these companies have nothing to offer even without a sunroof.
  4. I did notice that these 2017 models still have the push buttons to manually bring the mirrors in and out.
  5. I agree. I was hoping that it could be as simple as changing a module. Since the power mirrors and the unlock door feature are in the same wiring harness, the upgrade could be (and maybe used already) on the upgraded models of our vehicle. The dealer probably wouldn't waist their time with these issues and some concerns of owners.
  6. I see the 2017 MKZ does have auto-folding mirror options. The service rep told me there is probably no fix for 2016 or older. I wish somebody that really knows about this could tell me if it could be done or not.
  7. Yes it is. Looks like mine.
  8. Thanks. I had a wonderful dinner on Lincoln (culinary experience) to celebrate the anniversary.
  9. I ordered mine at the beginning of March 2015 and it took about two months (plus/minus a couple days). I took possession of my car on this date one year ago today. The car is still running like new after 13500 miles.
  10. My 2016 has power folding mirrors. But like most other vehicles(including the MKC), they are not automatic power folding. It doesn't seem very safe. Read my first post on this.
  11. I also have a 2016 with power folding mirrors and the dealer I talked to says they don't have a fix for making them autofold like the new MKC. I thought there would be a module from the MKC I could plug in, but they said no.I also thought it was dumb on Lincoln's part to excude this feature. I've forgot to fold out the mirrors a couple of times after driving off at night. It seems dangerous to have to unfold your mirrors while you need them at that moment. My other car'so mirrors autofold and they work fine. I can't see why you would not want them folded when you lock the doors. I also bought an autofolding module on-line hoping to retrofit it, but when I opened up the door panel, there where too many logic wires and remote wiring to hook it up. If I had a wiring schematic, I might be able to do something.
  12. Why is there no mud guards offered to fit the 2013-16 mkz. I know I can buy some cheap universal set, but they should make a custom set to fit these cars some ware. I guess I'll keep looking.
  13. The sides are at 70% adding anything will lower the percentage and will be illegal if they want to ticket you. The tint installer will tell you. Here's the tint laws for all the states. tintlaws.com/laws/NY/
  14. I think that's the only window I can legally tint in NY. I probably should. A lot of sun beats down on the rear deck.
  15. The bump on the middle top of the trunk is the Sirius/XM antenna. Maybe they found a way to in incorporate the two together.
