  1. There are stipulations state to state as well regarding rear door window tint if the vehicle is equiped with driver and passenger door mirrors. example: here in NY if you have functioning driver and passenger door mirrors, you can tint the rear doors and rear window as dark as you like. However if you only have driver door mirror and rear view, you are limited to 70% on rear doors but can still tint rear window as dark as you want.
  2. Update - THX system has been completely gutted except for front door tweeters. Front Stage - Rockford Fosgate Prime 6x8 2 way, Factory THX tweeters run on Orion High Pass Passive crossovers. All Powered by 2nd gen Orion HCCA225 Competition. Rear Stage - Rockford Fosgate Prime 6x8 2 way powered by Infinity Beta 50. Factory Substage has been removed and will fit Rockford Fosgate Prime 5.25" component set with correct 6x9 plate adapter. Will be run parallel with rear stage for 2ohm stereo load in Infinity Beta 50. Sub Stage - 2x Eclipse 88120 DVC's wired 1 ohm load In Vented Enclosure tuned 31Hz. Powered by Orion XtrPro 1000. Tuning is coming along. It definitely sounds much cleaner than the factory THX system. Future plans for expansion will be DSP (helix or 3sixty.3) Possible provisions to run front and rear center channels Edit: i will also be experimenting with an infinite baffle for subwoofer stage
  3. Has anyone else attempted this? It was a pain but here is mine. Currently only front and rear doors are amp'd but sounds amazing so far. Passive Crossovers are needed to utilize tweeters in front doors.
  4. Follow up on this post, all 4 wires provide a constant 6v analog signal and can be tapped. Volume is controlled by the dsp inside the amplifier on the output stage therefore not affecting the input side
  5. According to the image i attached to this post, am i safe to assume the following: GRN/ORG BLU/BRN VIO/BRN YEL/BLU 1. These wires theoretically should be full range signal coming into the amplifier? 2. These signals should not be affected by DSP due to DSP's integration into the amplifier? 3. These signal wires could be used (tapped, line driver, etc) to feed clean signal to separate amplifier/amplifier's? Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated
