  1. Had my 13 Hybrid for almost 2 yrs (34k miles)... Summer time MPGs dropped a lot for me due to the AC.. Also on any long road trips would have a big drop in the MPGs.. But once weather cooled and no AC it was back to normal around town.. As for long road trips there was always a drop in MPGs.. I figured it was due to the ICE kicking in more often to go up over hills and passing other cars...

  2. Well my wife found that if she used the iphone setup instead of the ipad setup she could download the app to my ipad mini. She doesn't have a smartphone just a basic LG tracphone and we are finding that the services section is not as intuitive as onstar was but we can ask for an operator and speak to a live person re turn by turn nav and get the person to download the directions to the car like onstar did with the buick. We do need to have her phone in the car which we didn't for onstar.

You can input an address to the Nav manually... And also can find what you are looking for under POI...

  3. Geno,  Welcome to the Forum ... I know you can download the My Lincoln app for the Iphone and also the Sync Destinations app... The Destinations app works great just input an address into your phone and send it to Sync... After just press the Voice Command in your car and say services and it will download the destination to your nav..

  4. I ordered the update as soon as it was available.

I just checked and I received my SD Card update on May 4, 2015 and I paid a total of $161.47. If you took delivery of your 2015 in January 2015, that would potentially make mine newer than what came in your 2015.

If you send me an email to my junk email address with the address you want I could see if it's there. Let me know.

    The 3.7L oh yeah!

Thank you all  for the input.. I just ordered mine the new A6 version $ 166.72 . . I had the A5 version. :)

  5. Going back to my Garmin days there were new locations that took quite a bit of time to appear in the maps. Some I could go to in Google Earth but Garmin still did not have it in the map. Could be the same thing going on with the map provider for Lincoln. No rhyme for reason for how long it takes.

It seems odd that your 2013 with the original maps shows up to date when I was offered and bought an update for my 2014 this year.

Joe.. I drive a 15 3.7  since January...Was with the Hybrid guys with my 13 ... But thought you and Drolds1 needed another 3.7 guy  ;)

  6. I had my 2014 about a year when the update became available. I think they update maps annually. The maps are not from Lincoln/Ford but a third party vendor. Try the link that Artie (Drolds1) posted and you should be able to purchase the new maps.

Went to the link said I was up to date.. Reason I asked is I take a new road (3yrs old) to work and it dose not come up on the map... Thought they would have caught up by now...

  7. Sure I updated my 2014 about 6 months ago. Got the new SD Card, plugged it in and that was that.

So it would be a newer version of what we have now ? The one I have now is the same version that was on my 13...Don't understand if they have an updated version why not put it in the newer models .....

  8. I have the Reserve package (102A) in my 2014 and it came with the all weather floor mats. It also had the regular carpeted floor mats. So, two sets of floor mats.

On my 13 Hybrid got the top package and it came with nice floor mats and trunk mat... On my 15 I also got both sets of mats like Joe.. but did not get a trunk mat... I did keep the one from my Hybrid it dose not fit  all the way but still use it..

  9. Have not gotten any emails from them ... even went on line and checked my account.. no mention of an update... wondering if it is a regional update...?

You east coast folks always getting  the cool stuff first out here in the West we are like the step kids

  10. I went ahead and downloaded mlt on my phone and I noticed it said service for 4 years. So that kinda raises concern. Seemed like it was talking about the app being free for 4 years...then Idk

Another app I use is SYNC Destinations....You can enter an address through the app and send it to SYNC... Then all you do is when you get into your car Press the voice command and say services and it will download the address to your Nav.. Saves a lot time and very simple to use .. It also has other features that I use as well

  11. The anticipation is most certainly killing me, but kinda fun at the same time. I plan on getting the grill and wheels powder coated black shortly after getting the car, I love the black on black look. Actually, it'll be black on black on black for mine. And i opted for the aluminum trim as well, not a interior wood kinda guy, i'm only 30, and that seems a bit more geared towards an older person feel. So after the 6 months of sat radio is up, do we still get the traffic alert stuff? Or will i have to pay for sat radio to use the rest of those features? As in, is it a complete package deal or something?

I am not 100% sure but I think you would have to pay for the radio service in order for the Travel link to work.. I dont think they would give away 6 years of free stuff with out a catch....and congrats on your new car
