Hi ahwinn and welcome to the Ford Fusion Forum. If you are referring to the moonroof electrical components only? Yes, you can drive the vehicle. Obviously just be sure it is closed in case of rain.
Let us know how you make out and good luck.
Hi New2Lincoln14 and welcome to the Lincoln MKZ Forum. It could be any of many things. Worn brake pads, worn brakes in general, debris stuck on the pads, rust on the rotors, etc. etc.
Brakes are nothing to play around with, so it would be best to have your Lincoln/Ford Dealer or an independent shop you trust take a look. Or perhaps have a car-knowledgeable friend take a look first.
Let us know how you make out and good luck.
I have a loud squeal happening from the front brakes ONLY when moving slowly in reverse, especially when turning the wheel, such as backing out of parking spots. Otherwise there's no sounds from the brakes and they work as they should. What could be the problem?
Hi gang. See the link below for the latest SYNC 3 NAV map update information, as listed on the Lincoln SYNC 3 NAV map update website:
https://syncnavigation.com/lincoln/home
SYNC 3 NAV map updates are normally released later in the calendar year, but it seems the next one will be available earlier.
Good luck.
Any late MKZ owners ever had a problem with car lope in drive mode only, read could be fuel injector, MAF sensor, faulty wiring /spark plugs, runs fine in all other gears. Feedback is most definitely welcome!
My 2015 mkz 3.7l has 90k miles and threw the p0171 and p0174 code. After watching many videos I have begun the process of elimination. The long term fuel trims are +30. The short term fuel trims are in normal range. I've tested maf, fuel pressure, smoke tested for vacuum leaks, changed all four O2 sensors, air filter new, pcv valve, purge valve. I'm out of ideas. I have heard that if someone ran E85 fuel it could created a problem like this. I've added 3 bottles of injector cleaner to the last 4 or 5 tanks of gas.
Any help would be appreciated. I'm stumped
Hi Brads600 and welcome to the Lincoln MKZ Forum. Most modern vehicles no longer utilize "windshield molding or trim". It gives the vehicle a more finished look (according to opinion, of course), and better aerodynamics also.
Good luck.
My 2015 Mkz is making a strange noise. When starting the car it makes a noise like something broke loose but then settles down.
If I rev the motor upon releasing the throttle there is a loud whirring sound.
Sounds like it is under the valve cover but hard to locate
It idles fine
it drives and accelerates fine|
No DTC codes or check engine light
I will try to use a recorder on my phone to post it.
