Power steering leak

Recommended Posts

I have a 2008 Lincoln MKZ and it's leaking power steering fluid in the area around the radiator.I can't see the leak but I know it's coming from between the radiator and the small cooler in front of the radiator, as if the hose goes between the radiator and the transmission or Power steering cooler. I don't have not can I find a diagram of how the power steering hose runs in that area. So I don't know how to repair it. I've tried several stop leaks and none have worked so far.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

James

Ford power steering hoses tend to go anytime after 10 or 12 years of use, and 2008 to now is just about right.  The only solution is to replace the hose.  They are not repairable.  A shop service manual is very useful.

I could not find a youtube on replacing it for a 2008 MKZ, sorry.
