Not sure if this is right forum to post in...

Hi All,

I own a 2017 MKZ 3.0 T AWD and was wondering why I don't see any water from A/C condensation dripping under vehicle while a/c is on or even after it's off usually you see it under vehicle.

Haven't gotten any water inside vehicle, I'm just wondering where the heck water is?

Hi Gravesend. Moving your thread to the "Maintenance, Recalls & TSB's" sub-forum.

Good luck.

You didn't ask where it was.  You asked why you didn't see any condensation under your car.  The drain in 2nd-gen MKZs is accessed by raising the car and lowering the heat shield that's under the transmission hump towards the middle of the car.

So all that liquid evaporates before it hits the floor??

Doesn't matter where out-port opening is shouldn't I see liquid under car? If not where's it going ?

Thanks

Hi Gravesend. Yes, it could be evaporating. You state there is no water intrusion in the cabin. Is the HVAC system working properly otherwise?

Is your 2017 MKZ still within the 4 year/50,000 mile New Car Warranty? if yes, and you still think there is an issue, your best course of action would be to make a service appointment and have it looked at.

Let us know how you make out and good luck.

Everything "seems" to be working correctly and no water in cabin. I just found it odd so that's why I asked question on forum.

Thanks

Hi Gravesend. There is no problem asking. We all need to start somewhere. Most of us are here to help others with their questions and concerns and are happy to do so. 🤗

I will also add: Blind Internet diagnosis is iffy at best and terrible at its worst. So we could be wrong. Therefore, if your worries have not been allayed, I would still recommend making a service appointment. Or even stop by your Lincoln Dealer one day and ask the Service Advisors.

Let us know how you make out and good luck.
