DondiSmith Posted January 13, 2017 Hello Forum, I'm new here and the proud owner of a 2009 Lincoln MKZ I bought 3 days ago. After hours of searching online I finally found this place and wanted to ask a question to anyone that may have the answer. I have a stock radio with the Microsoft SYNC system. I'm hoping I can upgrade to a new double din radio. Does anyone know how I can do this and what parts I need to order? Any help would be greatly appreciated. drolds1 Posted January 13, 2017 Welcome to the forums. Try Crutchfield. They have great customer service and should be able to suggest something.
2013MKZ Posted January 14, 2017 Welcome! I have purchased stereo upgrades from many sites including Crutchfield. In the end I usually buy through Amazon, Sonic Electronics or ABT due to lower prices. Shop the big box stores to see what you want and then research lower cost options online.

TomV Posted April 20, 2020 I used to have a Kenwood head unit with a idatalink Maestro RR (connects to iDatalink-compatible Alpine, JVC, Kenwood, Pioneer and SONY radios) in my old 2009 Ford Fusion with Sync. It retained all the OEM features, Sync, Satellite, Phone, etc.) I still have the idatalink module for sale if you're interested.
J.bornoffical Posted July 26, 2020 hey DondiSmith, its very possible i had to cut the plastic a bit and i used the stock mount that was on the other radio, Everything lined up On the newer mkz's you will have to use a PAC interface box so it will not throw a code
