  1. I'm getting a little desperate at trying to get Sync to work. The version I have is the basic without the touchscreens I have just the LCD screen. The phone has never been connect to it as I just bought the car a couple of days ago. The issue I'm having is the phone button does not work or the voice button on the steering wheel. When I hit the menu button there are only two option that show of which neither has anything to do with the phone options. When I press the Aux button Sync briefly displays and then goes back to FM. What I have done so far is remove the fuse for sync for 30 min, this did not work so I remove the negative battery cable for 30 minutes. That didn't work either. What am I missing here? any thing else I can do or try?
  2. Looking for suggestions on a good method of mounting a phone in my 2007 MKZ. Would really like it to be higher on the dash, right of the steering wheel, left of the clock (more eye level, but not on windshield or top of dash). If I can avoid screws or adhesive, that would be awesome. Found the below products so far, but not really sure how well they will work. Any help would be appreciated :) If you have pics of a clever method you came up with, I would love to see it! http://www.proclipusa.com/phone-holders/device/samsung/galaxy-s4/medium-universal-adjustable-holder-for-devices-with-a-case-246824-19356.cmsv?p_leftorright=0 http://www.rammount.com/part/RAM-B-316-1-238U
  3. So I've had this happen a few times on my 2011 MKZ. The audio/music on my phone seems to disconnect from the bluetooth and will not reconnect. I can still ANSWER phone calls via the manual buttons, but voice control no longer works. I've deleted the phone and readded through the menu multiple times to no avail. The ONLY thing that works, for a while, is disconnecting the negative battery cable for 5 minutes.Has anyone else had this issue and found a better answer??
