See this post. There's more information than I originally had.

Ironic. Lincoln specifically designed this fob as part of the MKZ upgrade for 2017. They wanted it to have a heavier, more luxurious feel befitting a luxury car and to further differentiate it from the Fusion.  IMO, the previous fob that I had with my 2014 was a cheap-feeling piece shared with the Fusion.  The "chrome" trim on it started peeling and went under my fingernail. Ouch!  I was a member of the Lincoln MKS forum when that was model was introduced and there were numerous complaints about the fob.  Some owners had them replaced under warranty for the peeling issue.

Yes, I found it annoying in my 2017 to have to keep turning on the Auto Hold feature each time the car was restarted.  My son had a M-B that, IMO, had a better solution, i.e., after stopping,  you just pushed down further on the brake pedal to engage Auto Hold.  There was a trade-off, however.  In my 2020, the LKA defaults to off and has to be reactivated after shutoff.  I prefer it the 2020 way.  Of course, they could have just left the LKA on as well as Auto Hold.   I didn't think there was a ledger for features.😏

Likewise. I have a Ford & Lincoln, also a Pontiac. Been very happy taking the Z & Truck to Ford, often find "The Works" on sale for less than the usual $70 or so. Also, since I made sure I took the time to introduce myself to the Service Writers and always bring 2 doz actual bakery doughnuts when I drop off a vehicle for service, they know I'm a journeyman mechanic and don't cop an attitude if a vehicle that had say, 1mm left of usual rotor thickness on the last courtesy inspection now has new pads & rotors on that end, or two new tires on the front, etc.
edit; likewise the GM dealer I bought my Solstice from back in '07 (including doughnuts). Haven't found a local Stude dealer, though 😥

The Zephyr concept has been seen around Dearborn.  There appears to be some kind of exhaust system seen in the photos, so unless that's a decoy, it doesn't seem to be a BEV.  Still probably destined for China only, but I wouldn't be unhappy to find out otherwise.

Thanks for searching but in my case, I hadn't set a destination and despite the "No GPS" message, I was exactly where the car icon showed my location to be.  When I did set a destination, it worked perfectly.

Yes,  As I pointed out, there are no air springs or shocks.  While technically there are ride height sensors, the car itself has no self-leveling capability, which was Zondedo's original question.  They're used in conjunction with the CCD.

Different story, however, for the Aviator with Lincoln Air Glide suspension. I just hope it's more reliable than it was on the Mark 7 and TC.

The MKZ doesn't have auto leveling.   It has continuously controlled damping (CCD) only.  There are no air springs or shocks, as on the old Mark 7 & 8 series and Town Cars.  Some new Lincoln SUVs do have it.

I had 3 LSes:  2000 V6 Sport, 2003 V8 Sport and a 2006 V8 Sport.  Loved 'em all.  You're right about the handling. I would occasionally get under the car just to admire the suspension components.

I can't believe that a Lincoln dealer can't find the problem.  I hope that they at least didn't charge you for the diagnostic.  Try another dealer or call the Lincoln Concierge.  In the meantime, try this.  It's a Fusion, but the basics might be the same.

My car has the Terra Cotta leather/black carpet mats and carpeting combination.  I'd stick with the black all-weather mats.  I have the Lincoln all-weather mats as well, but only use them if there's snow on the ground.

Sounds like you should have bought a Honda Civic if your after that awesome 4 cylinder fart can sound.  As already noted, the MKZ is a luxury car, not a tuner.  You will reduce the resale value with all your mods.  Potential buyers will quickly recognize that a teenage driver owned the car....no bueno, when the see the fart can exhaust, CAÍ and vinyl wrap. 🙄.  It’s your car though so tear it up.  Detroit is making new ones every day.

I'd double-check for fitment issues before going with that wheel/tire combo.  Your next mod should be to take that dealer sticker off the decklid.😄

Ha.  My wife gets angry at me when I say those exact words.  If I am here for another car, there are still other choices.  I was on my way to order a Genesis G70 Sport last year when the Lincoln dealer called and made me an offer I couldn't refuse.

IDK if China is a larger and more profitable market for Ford, but they still have a strong demand for sedans.

What sub model is it? Ie: Premier, Reserve, Black Label, etc? Does it have the 4cyl, hybrid, or V6? FWD or AWD? A few more specifics can help us provide an opinion on the pricing.  Right off the top of my head,  that price sounds a bit high,  but knowing the particular details will help get you better input.
