Ok I have a rant my 2017 MKZ 3.0T came with summer high performance tires as standard equipment with the sports package. Now that is great if I lived down south or some other warm place but here in Western Massachusetts in April we could still get some light snow and temps are often below 40F and summer HP tires are not good at all traction wise below 40F. I do plan to run all 4 snow tires come winter but I just think Lincoln would have been much smarter if the factory sports package tires we high performance all season tires at leased I would not have to worry about springtime road grip on cold days.

Rant at your dealer, not Lincoln.  All-season tires are standard equipment with the Driver's Sport Package.  My car has A/S tires and was a factory order.

Summer tires are option code T7R, at a cost of $195 and the car has to ordered that way.  Did you buy this car new?  If so, was it a factory order or taken from dealer inventory?

No I did not order the car new it had about 6,600 miles on it. It was really my fault I should have negotiated different tires in the deal I made. I will just have to be careful until it warms up around here.

Well, it's April, so it should be warming up.  (Still, we had several inches of snow this morning).  You'll probably be OK from here on out, but you might seriously want to think about winter tires next fall or switching to A/S tires altogether.

I used quite a few 4-letter words myself when I woke up and saw what was going on IN APRIL! :swear:

Opening day at Yankee stadium was postponed on account of snow for the first time in 36 years.  We were in AZ last week. should have stayed there.
