I logged into my lincoln account this morning and I noticed a new software update, that is  Sync3 v2.3 update available just by clicking on download, of course a thumbdrive is needed and do not d/l

directly to thumbdrive and these pictures say it all. It's been like this all day today and so I called Lincoln and this was "TOTALLY NEW TO THEM", didn't know about it.

Also tried d/l via WiFi, no such luck.

My account page still shows I have current version (2.2).  If you are able to get the 2.3 downloaded, could you please post it here?  Maybe they are doing a staged/staggered rollout and it will appear for everyone soon.

EDIT:  After looking it says that I got 2.3 installed in August (before I purchased the car new) and I still have the Album Art issue which I thought would be fixed in the next release.  I could have sworn when I checked the car it said 2.2 so I will have to go look at my car during lunch.

The website reports that I have version 2.3 and I am up to date, however the car reports it is still version 2.2

 

Did anyone have any experience with performing a manual update to version 2.3?

As always, I'll wait, per advice from my SA.  There seems to be an issue with every new Sync release.

Well after looking at my Sync3 software history in my account, it now shows that in Dec 2016 Sync3 2.3 is installed, however in my car shows it shows Sync3 Software Version 2.2 Build 17011_Product.

Another call to Lincoln and there is a typo error , there is no Sync3 v2.3 at the present time. Correct version is what I mentioned above.

We're in the same boat. I, too, had the Album Art issue with Sync 3 v2.2. And as a musician, music lover, and person who is OCD about organization...that made me SOOOO mad. But I went and checked. The website also is telling me my car is updated with v2.3. I don't remember it ever finding any updates. I'm gonna walk out to my car and check when I go get lunch. Last time I checked my car, it still said v2.2. Maybe the tech/software people at Lincoln are in the process of rolling out this new update, but the info hasn't yet reached the Concierge/service representatives. Hmmm...

Someone in another thread has posted an unofficial update to Sync 3 v.3.0 from a Ford Mustang forum.

Anybody wanna be a guinea pig and let me know how it works on a 2017 MKZ? LOL
